SNUAC and the Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea Office Formalize an MOU



On April 20th, 2021, the formalization of an MOU between SNUAC and Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea Office proceeded at SNUAC. Participants included Prof. Beomshik Shin (Dept. of Political Science & International Relations / Deputy Director of SNUAC / Director of Center for Eurasian and Central Asian Studies), Dr. Bernhard Seliger (Representative of HSF Korea), Prof. Kilkon Ko (Grad. School of Public Administration / Director of Asia Regional Information Center), Research Professor Jungwon Huh (Asia Regional Information Center), and other staff. Both parties agreed on expanding exchanges, organizing joint conferences and research activities, and seeking research cooperation by strengthening the network.

Through this MOU, it is expected that SNUAC and HSF will actively cooperate in the research for international environmental problems, international cooperation and exchanges in the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia, sustainable development in borderline areas, sharing Germany’s experience in unification, and discussion of the unification issue for the Korean peninsula.
