This lecture was organized as the second event in a special lecture series jointly hosted by the Civil Society Program at SNUAC and TOYO GIC. The speaker, Professor Monika Grabowska of Wroclaw University of Economics in Poland, is an expert in international economics whose research focuses particularly on the labor market and economic structure of Eastern Europe and Poland. Titled “The Third Sector as a Branch of the Polish Economy,” this lecture will offer an in-depth examination of the role of the third sector—the nonprofit and nongovernmental sphere outside the state and the market—with particular attention to the economic context of Poland.
