On June 26, SNUAC held the graduation ceremony for the fourth cohort of its public lecture program, Global Future Strategy Executive Program in Vietnam, in Ho Chi Minh City. A total of 49 participants enrolled in the fourth cohort, all of whom successfully completed the program. Notably, the cohort recorded an exceptionally high attendance rate of nearly 80 percent, and 12 participants—approximately one quarter of the entire class—received perfect attendance awards for attending all 15 regular lectures. In his response on behalf of the graduates, Class Representative Daeyeol Jung, CEO of Joyme Catering, expressed strong satisfaction with the curriculum organized by SNUAC and noted that there has been considerable interest within the Korean community in Ho Chi Minh City regarding the opening of the next cohort.

With this, SNUAC has successfully operated a total of four public lecture programs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City over the past two years. Suhong Chae, Director of SNUAC and Professor of Anthropology, expressed his gratitude to Seoul National University for developing and providing high-quality lectures, to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, for its generous support, to the participants for their sincere engagement with the program, and to the Korean community in Ho Chi Minh City for its continued interest. He also affirmed SNUAC’s commitment to further strengthening the planning and operation of its public lecture programs in Vietnam.

Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, remarked that the public lecture program in Vietnam had served as an opportunity to bring together the Korean expatriate community and the local community in Ho Chi Minh City through learning. She expressed her hope that the program would continue and become a foundation for the shared prosperity of the two countries.

SNUAC plans to open the fifth cohort of the public lecture program in Hanoi in August 2026, continuing its efforts to lead the internationalization of Seoul National University.
