[News] Completion Ceremony for the 22nd Cohort of Research Interns
On Friday, February 27, the completion ceremony was held for the 22nd cohort of research interns who had been active at the Seoul National University Asia Center during the second half of the 2025 academic year (September 2025 to February 2026). The ceremony featured congratulatory remarks by Professor Jooyong Park, Director of Human Resources Development, and was emceed by Dr. Eunyoung Nam, Research Fellow in the Human Resources Development Division. During the event, certificates of completion were presented to the 12 research interns in attendance, who also briefly shared their reflections on their activities.
Including cohort president Boyoung Min (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies), Jisu Park (Yonsei University), Junhyeong Bang (Seoul National University), Seungmin Seo (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies), and Anastasiia Sukiasiants (The Academy of Korean Studies) received Excellence in Activities Awards. In the awards for outstanding field research reports, the Grand Prize was awarded to Jisu Park (Yonsei University), who wrote a short paper titled “The Time Lag between Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Citizen-Participatory Governance: Focusing on Cases of Urban Environmental Facility Disputes in East Asia,” and to Seungmin Lee (Seoul National University), who wrote a report titled “The Deepening Diplomatic Isolation of India in 2025 and the Limits of Policy Response: An Analysis of the Causes of Intensified U.S. Pressure on India and India’s Domestic and International Political Dilemmas.” Excellence Awards went to Boyoung Min (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies), Junhyeong Bang (Seoul National University), Anastasiia Sukiasiants (The Academy of Korean Studies), Yuseon Wang (Seoul National University), So-un Jeong (Seoul National University), and Seowon Choi (Seoul National University). Encouragement Awards were presented to Gayeon Kim (Yonsei University), Seungmin Seo (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies), Gayoung Son (Seoul National University), and Hanyong Lee (Seoul National University).
