CAUS Urban Seminar 5 – Urban Society and Infrastructure

  • Date: January 9th, Friday, 2026, 9:00 – 12:00
  • Online via Zoom

This seminar aims to understand urban infrastructure as a product of social and political relations that constitute and operate the city. Moving beyond technology or facilities alone, it explores—through key theories and case studies—how infrastructure organizes urban society within everyday life, power structures, and forms of collectivity. Through collective reading and discussion, the seminar seeks to cultivate a shared theoretical sensibility for thinking critically about urban infrastructure.
