The “Shining Literature of Asia” lecture series is a public program that explores the histories and cultures of different regions of Asia through their most influential works, sharing the wisdom contained within these texts. The series poses a central question: How should we understand Asia in an increasingly interconnected world, where communication among people of diverse cultures and histories continues to expand? Aimed at all those seeking a deeper understanding of Asia, the lectures invite regional experts to introduce and interpret seminal works from across the continent in search of meaningful insights. The series is organized into six regional sections: Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, West Asia, Central Asia, and Africa. The West Asia series will be released starting this month.
