The 5th Dissertation Prize Winner Forum

Since 2014, the Seoul National University Asia Center has been selecting and awarding outstanding academic theses related to Asia, its surrounding regions, and integrative themes. To date, over forty researchers specializing in fields such as political science, law, economics, sociology, geography, cultural anthropology, and history have received the Thesis Award.

This forum was organized to introduce the excellent research achievements of the award recipients to the academic community and to build a network among them.

In addition, the forum will include discussions on various aspects of the thesis-writing process, such as topic selection, theoretical frameworks and methodologies, data collection, and challenges encountered during research.
