[News] Sejong LLC Ho Chi Minh Office Visits SNUAC
On Friday, May 2, 2025, at 3:30 PM, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh Office of Sejong LLC visited the SNUAC to discuss potential collaborations and exchange initiatives. The visiting delegation included 13 Korean and Vietnamese attorneys, led by Managing Attorney Youngmin Kil.
Representing SNUAC were Professor Suhong Chae (Director, Department of Anthropology), Professor Yongkyun Kim (Director of the Vietnam Center, Department of Political Science and International Relations), and Yoonje Lee (MA student and Assistant at the Vietnam Center).
As one of the earliest Korean law firms to establish a presence in Ho Chi Minh City, Sejong LLC has accumulated extensive experience in joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions involving major Korean enterprises operating in Vietnam. Notably, the firm also provided legal and accounting advisory support for the second cohort of SNUAC’s Global Future Strategy Executive Program in Vietnam launched in March.
During the meeting, Attorney Youngmin Kil expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the work and scope of the Sejong Ho Chi Minh Office. He also shared an interest in supporting future SNUAC public programs and expressed the firm’s willingness to cooperate in establishing a Seoul National University representative office in Vietnam.
In response, Director Suhong Chae provided an overview of SNUAC’s structure, researchers, and key initiatives. He noted that SNUAC could serve as a collaborative platform for Sejong LLC’s future education and research-based social responsibility activities, and potentially assist in offering continuing legal education opportunities for Vietnamese attorneys in Korea.
