As Korea’s foreign policy towards Asia and Africa continues to diversify, exemplified by the first high-level Korea-Africa Forum in June 2024 and the Korea-Africa FTA, there is a need to review the existing aspects of international cooperation with these regions. This review aims to gather a variety of analytical opinions to analyze the future direction of Korea’s research on Asia and Africa. Through this, the goal is to seek research directions that align with and contribute to the productive and constructive diplomatic policy direction of the Korean government.
