- Date: May 24th, Friday, 2024, 10:30 – 11:30
- Location: Room 303, SNUAC (Bldg. 101)
Presenter: Seung Cheol Lee (Director, Indo-Korea Science and Technology Center)
The image that Koreans have of Indian science and technology is that of a country where geniuses gather in engineering, an industry developed around IT, a powerhouse in space technology, and institutions like the Indian Institute of Technology. However, the reality is that we lack any in-depth information about science and technology in India. In this workshop, a speaker who has experienced collaborative research with Indian researchers for ten years at the Indo-Korea Science and Technology Center in Bangalore will talk about the current status of science and technology in India and cooperation between Korea and India in the field of science and technology. There will also be time for discussing cooperation strategies and plans between Korea and India based on this.
