It is not hard to come across foreign workers in the fields in the countryside. It means that we owe quite a large share of the production of our crops to foreign workers. Then, are we clearly aware of the size, reality, and problems of foreign worker employment in the agricultural sector? Though we hear about the harsh working conditions in agriculture through the press, do we know the real story in the fields? This colloquium will discuss in detail the employment status and challenges of foreign workers in agriculture.
