As the international status of Korea is rising and the current Korean government’s development cooperation strategy plan for Africa grew in size, it became necessary to form a critical discourse on the existing African development cooperation policy. Following this trend, SNUAC’s Asia-Africa Center is hosting Africa Seminars to create the basis for basic research in Korea’s development cooperation with Africa and to foster a field of networking for scholars. This seminar will share an anthropological approach to the Mycaean people of Madagascar to analyze and understand the regional characteristics of Africa.
