As discussions regarding E.S.G. have flooded at home and abroad recently, it is inevitable that international standards from the major global standard setter will inevitably influence enterprises in Korea. Though these discussions have been reignited around the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to understand them in the context of sustainability in association with the discourse of institutionalization on new values that have been socially demanded in both the public and private sectors in Europe for a long time.  This lecture seeks to understand the recent international trends for institutionalizing the public announcement of sustainability on non-financial information, and also note the issues of institutionalization in Korea.
