Due to the Russia-Ukraine War, the Syrian Civil War, and climate changes such as global warming, many refugees have been created in various regions of the world including Eurasia, which has led to a great change in the landscape of global migration.

In this time of changes, SNUAC CECAS has been selected for the NRF’s Humanities and Social Sciences Research Institute Support Project since September 2023, and started research with the subject “A Study on Eurasian Refugees as Migrants Crossing Borders: The multifaceted changes and influences of migration dynamics”.

SNUAC CECAS ‘Migration·Refugee Research Group’ has invited Professor Injin Yoon (Korea Univ.) to discuss the major issues of migration and refugee studies at home and abroad, and seek the future directions of the field.
