Though Asia is experiencing rapid development, serious environmental issues and various natural disasters occur alongside. This lecture aims to understand the historical characteristics and process of climate change, the main issue of the contemporary environmental crisis, and to examine the regional differences in Asia’s development. It will provide us with physical ground and theoretical basis for Asia’s sustainable development.
