SNUAC Center for Eurasian and Central Asian Studies (CECAS) has programmed a series of workshop lectures on ‘The Dynamics of Migration’. First ‘return migration’ (Koryo community in Korea) and ‘labor migration’ (North Korean laborers who migrated to Primorsky Krai) that show the actual aspects of migration will be discussed, then institutions and discourses will be examined in depth through topics such as ‘migration policy of authoritarian states (Russia, Kazakhstan)’ and ‘migration and security’.

2nd lecture: April 20th (Thu) North Korean Laborers in Primorsky Krai  – Vadim Akulenko

3rd lecture: May 18th (Thu) Migration Policy of Authoritarian States – Songha Joo
