In the Program on Asia’s Intellectual Values, <East Asian Law> has been focusing on the ancient society where the concept of rule of law was formed. This lecture by Prof. Mizuma will explore the process of the ancient concept of rule of law being settled down in medieval times. He will especially focus on <Ten Evils> that reflects the central Confucian values of East Asia.
