SNUAC Center for Eurasian and Central Asian Studies (CECAS) has programmed a series of workshop lectures on ‘The Dynamics of Migration’. First ‘return migration’ (Koryo community in Korea) and ‘labor migration’ (North Korean laborers who migrated to Primorsky Krai) that show the actual aspects of migration will be discussed, then institutions and discourses will be examined in depth through topics such as ‘migration policy of authoritarian states (Russia, Kazakhstan)’ and ‘migration and security’.

The series starts with a presentation on the Koryo community in Korea. Prof. Young-sang Lim is an expert who has studied the Korean diaspora for a long time. Please join us in our discussion of the Koryo community that is dispersed throughout the country.
