This event was organized for students in the Philippines who are interested in the Korean peninsula and Korean studies to provide them an opportunity to participate in a systematic academic event to expand and develop their interest in Korea. Furthermore, it was a project for Korean studies scholars scattered in many universities around the Manila area; for them to network and share their ideas through discussions.
