Since over a third of the entire global population are believers, the religious realm is an important agent in sustainability. This special brown bag seminar invites Prof. Wimal Hewamanage, a Sri Lankan scholar in Buddhist studies, to examine sustainability in the context of Buddhism and discuss empirical cases. If possible, comparisons with other religions and means of development will be discussed.
