It is a topic being studied over several disciplines why a certain nation is interested in the African continent and how it approaches it. However, research on Korea’s recent active diplomacy and assistance for Africa has been neglected. In this context, this presentation seeks to explain why and how Korea approaches Africa, through the cases of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda.
