From the Han Dynasty until the present, the Chinese academia has been consistently conducting research that comparatively studies the differences between characters of each country in the Warring States period. With the excavation of various resources, a new era of character research has arrived, This lecture introduces the trend and references of Warring States’ characters and examines around 30 unique characters of Qin characters. A total of 9 types have been classified from Qin characters based on the causes of differences.
