Comparative Approaches to the Environmental Studies in Asia and Europe
- Date: June 11th, Saturday, 2022, 13:00 – 17:30
- Location: Youngone Hall (Room 210), SNUAC (Bldg. 101)
Environmental problems are the issues that should be examined from both the long-term and comparative perspectives. However, environmental studies in Korea tend either to remain at an abstract level or to be confined to the national border. It is necessary for us to make environmental issues truly universal. This conference might be a meaningful start for that goal. At this conference, the presenters will make presentations about various environmental problems and the approaches to solving these problems spatially from China, Japan and Germany, temporally from the 17th Century and 21st century.
