Broader Perspective for Strangers
Stories of others within us that the researcher has found out on foot. Why are we afraid of Islam, why are they living among us, and what do we have to do in the future? This book seeks answers to these questions.
The author and researcher Soo-jeong Yi investigated all mosques and musallas nationwide in Korea since 2018.
She studied the life of migrant Muslims living in Korea and the appearances of Islam in Korean society and their acceptance in society to publish the findings.
All in all, this is a book that looks at others in our society in order to look back on ourselves.

Speaker: Soo-jeong Yi  (Visiting Researcher, West Asia Center, SNUAC)
Moderator and Discussant: Gi Yeon Koo (HK Research Professor)
