This workshop is the second one for the ‘Formation and Diversification of Asian Identities in Post-Cold War Era’ series being planned by the Comparative Regional Studies Cluster of SNUAC HK⁺ Mega-Asia Research Project Group.

Each author is tracking the process of each Asian region’s formation of identity through the following three themes: Part I. Historical Path of Asia’s Political Economic Change and the Construction and Diversification of Asian Identity; Part II. The Industrialization of Asia and Identity Politics of Asians in Migration; Part III. The Clash of Cosmopolitanism and Asian Identity in Globalization. This second workshop will present mid-term results of each author’s research progress.
