Wooden tablets are important excavated texts that allow us to peer into the history, culture, and exchanges of ancient East Asia. Asia’s Intellectual Values Program is holding an Expert Invitation Lecture Series with an expert of Japanese wooden tablets. Through three lectures, we would like to introduce the world of Japanese wooden tablets with topics such as classification, contents, research history, and how to use the database and reports.
