Global Refugee Issues and the Role of UNHCR

Speaker: James Lynch (UNHCR Representation in the Republic of Korea)

This special lecture will give an overall introduction to the global refugee problem and the activities of UNHCR. James Lynch will talk about the major refugee issues in the Asia Pacific, such as the issues in Afghanistan and Rohingya, as well as the role of UNHCR. The lecture will include a discussion of the refugee problem in Korea and introduce the Global Refugee Forum.
