Pakistan’s Challenges and Its Future

Speaker: Choong-joo Choi (Former Korean Ambassador to Pakistan)

Choong-joo Choi graduated from the Department of Economics at Seoul National University and entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1976. He completed the master’s program in international public policy in the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. He has worked at foreign posts including the Korean Embassy in the UK, Korean Mission to European Union (Belgium), Korean Mission to Geneva, and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (Bangkok), and served as the Consul General in Vancouver and the Korean Ambassador to Pakistan (2010.8-2013.6). After retiring, he has taught the theory of European integration at Catholic Kwandong University as an invited professor (2016.3-2019.2).
