The 8th KOSSDA Research Paper Competition
About
Seoul National University Asia Center’s Korean Social Science Data Archive (KOSSDA) holds a research paper competition every year, aiming at fostering the empirical research competence of graduate and undergraduate students and encouraging usage of KOSSDA data holdings.
- Eligibility: Theses and dissertations written in 2019 (including prospective graduates in February 2020) using KOSSDA data holdings
- All submitted theses and dissertations are to clearly state “source of KOSSDA data” on the application form
- Sectors: 1 Ph.D. dissertation (1,000,000 KRW), 2 Master’s theses (500,000 KRW each)
- Registration: Due December 15th, 2019
- Evaluation process: 3 weeks from submission due date
- Announcement of winners: January 10th, 2020 (subject to change)
- Application: Fill out the application form and send required documents and the dissertation/thesis via e-mail to kossda@snu.ac.kr
