Professor Li Xiaojie of the Institute of Chinese Historical Geography, Fudan University gave a presentation on “A Review of the Studies on the Transportation History During the Period of Qin and Han Dynasties in Mainland China: 1949-2019” in this colloquium.

He presented an organized history of research accumulated over the last 70 years on transportation during the period of Qin and Han Dynasties, which offered much to learn for researchers in history, geography, and archaeology. The presentation, with specific references on all research achievements on the transportation history of the Qin and Han periods, is itself highly valuable as an important reference point in related research. It was also a valuable time for all to gain important insights into the Chinese history of historical geography and intelligence.
