INDC and Relative Major Industrial Policies and Environment Legislations in India: Focusing On Environment Legislations

South Asia Center in SNU Asia Center has conducted a research on the
Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) under the topic of ‘Sustainable Growth.’ As a member of the UNFCCC, India set its goal to reduce green gas emissions by submitting the INDC in 2016 since The 2015 Paris Agreement. In accordance to India’s policy for climate change and its strategy, changes in industrial policy and environmental legislation are required. This colloquium seeks to figure out the current state and the future of India’s willingness to reduce green gas emissions and to prevent climate change.
