On June 3^rd, 2019, delegation from Jilin Academy of Social Sciences based in China, including the Vice Director, Xiaoyan Ding, Zhao Guang Yuan, Tan Hongmei, Wang Shuyen, Li Lili) visited SNU Asia Center. Jilin Academy of Social Sciences is a research institute that represents the three provinces of Northeastern China and has published works on economics, society, history, culture, North Korea-China-Russia relations, researches on Northeast Asian region. Under the institute, there are 15 sub-research institute and 3 research centers and the researchers are up to 300. The delegation has discussed ways to extend cooperation on research with SNU Asia center and confirmed mutual interests regarding the development of Huchun campus, planned by Yanbian University in Jilin province, and discussed different ways to cooperate especially on interaction/Cooperation among South Korea, China, Russia and North Korea and its related research.
