This colloquium, co-organized by the Institute for a Participatory Society and SNUAC Center for Asian Cities, was prepared to begin practical discussions on the cause and flow of proliferation of the populism phenomena at home and abroad, search for the meaning of ‘risk’ in regards to such phenomenon, as well as seek effective responsive measures by civil society movement, political party, and researchers with respect to the already expanding populism in Korea.
