SNU Asia Center(SNUAC) is a research institution for the dissemination of academic work on Asia, providing a basis for the interchange of cultures, and supporting exchange programs. SNUAC specifically supports research activities and exchanges between Asia and diverse nations. SNUAC contributes to the accumulation of outstanding research achievements, as well as convening diverse invited lectures, workshops, and conferences domestic and abroad.

To further facilitate SNUAC’s role in Asian Studies, the center created the community “Friends of Asia Center(FAC)” for Asian students at SNU. All SNU students from Asian countries can participate and SNUAC hopes to facilitate communication between students from diverse Asian countries as well as support their academic and research activities. Friends of Asia Center will provide diverse academic opportunities for the participating students such as organizing various events and meetings, as well as invitations to academic events at SNUAC.

  – Nationality: Be a citizen of a nation in Asia
  – Academic Background: Enrolled student at SNU
