『Bridging the Gap between Neighborhood and Citizenship』 examines the social economic activities of the civil society that was an alternate for the advancement of Korean society in the last decade. This book introduces social economic activities surrounding civil society based on the results of the three studies conducted since 2012 at Seoul National University Asia Center. Moreover, illustrating such social economic activities through interviewing grass-roots activists differentiates this book from past research that mostly summarized accomplishments of policies. Through this book, the author aspires to assist activists, policy makers, researchers, and people overall who are interested in the restoration of the community in Korean society.
