The Migration and Refugee Research Group of the Center for Eurasian and Central Asian Studies at SNUAC will host a special invited lecture by an expert to discuss the present and future of the Northern sea shipping route. This lecture will feature Seong-won Hong, Professor and Director of the Arctic Logistics Research Institute at Yeongsan University. The talk will examine the strategic logistical significance of developing the Arctic shipping route amid rapidly changing marine environments, while also addressing in depth the practical and immediate challenges that must be resolved in order to advance this route.
