The AsIA Humanities Dissemination Center at the SNUAC will host a book talk featuring Professor Tong Van Loi from the Institute of Vietnamese Studies and Development Sciences, Vietnam National University. The talk will focus on his 2020 publication, Social Transformations in the Rural Red River Delta of Vietnam in the 17th–18th Centuries (CHUYỂN BIẾN XÃ HỘI VÙNG NÔNG THÔN CHÂU THỔ SÔNG HỒNG THẾ KỶ XVII–XVIII), exploring the structural changes in rural society of the Red River Delta during the 17th and 18th centuries and their historical implications.
