On March 6th, 2025, Murat Tamer, the Turkish Ambassador to Korea, paid a visit to the Seoul National University Asia Center.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Suhong Chae, Director of SNUAC; Gi Yeon Koo, HK Professor at the West Asia Center; Jong-Chul Kim, research fellow in the International Exchange Division; Haeun Ha, co-researcher at the West Asia Center; Sercan Doğan, Press Counselor; and Özlem Okuyucu, Secretary.

Director Chae introduced the Asia Center’s programs and regional centers, while Ambassador Murat Tamer emphasized the strong friendship between Türkiye and South Korea. Both parties agreed to strengthen the network between SNUAC and the Turkish Embassy to foster closer academic exchanges between the two countries in the future.
