In the wake of the U.S.-China technological hegemony competition and the pandemic crisis, semiconductors have emerged as a critical area of economic security for countries around the world. Particularly, with these geopolitical shifts, the technological innovation model of East Asian countries, which has driven the growth of the semiconductor industry, is now facing new challenges and crises. This special lecture will explore the crises and response strategies of the East Asian semiconductor manufacturing industry in light of these geopolitical changes.
