The 2020 Spring/Fall conference of the Korean Association of Space & Environment Research will be held on September 19th, Saturday.
Though the COVID-19 situation remains rigid, it has been decided that the conference takes place in a limited-offline format. This conference will take place offline only with the presenters, discussants and moderators on site, and will be recorded and live-streamed.
Specials sessions ‘Issues of space related to the 21st National Assembly election’ and ‘Changes in the spatial environment due to COVID-19’. Along with these, there will be a general session on various spatial and environmental issues at hand.

On September 19th, the Korean Association of Space & Environment Research and SNUAC Center for Asian Urban Societies jointly held an academic conference via YouTube live.
The special session in the morning was on redistricting and linked proportional representation for the national assembly, and the special session in the afternoon was on the changes in the spatial environment after COVID-19. In the general session, researchers continued their presentations on various topics such as border areas, social rental housing, issues around prostitution-gathered areas, and urban policy mobility.
The conference was live-streamed on YouTube so that the presenters, discussants, moderators, and other participants gathered online to communicate during the event.
