한국동남아학회(KASEAS)에서 진행하고 있는 ASEAN-Korea Platform for Great Minds (AKPGM) 사업의 일환으로, 2026년 대학원생 현지조사 지원 장학금을 (YSRG, Young Scholar Research Grant) 공모합니다.
본 사업은 한아세안협력기금 ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF)의 지원을 받아, ASEAN 회원국 및 대한민국의 석/박사과정 대학원생이 동남아시아 및 ASEAN-한국 관련 연구를 위한 현지조사를 수행할 수 있도록 지원하는 프로그램입니다.

• 최대 3개월 현지조사 체류비
• 현지 연구 지도교수 자문비
• Young Scholar Research Workshop 참가 기회
지원 대상
• ASEAN 회원국 또는 대한민국 국적의 석/박사 과정 재학생

2026 ASEAN-Korea Young Scholar Research Grant (YSRG) – Call for Applications
The Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies (KASEAS) is pleased to announce the 2026 ASEAN-Korea Young Scholar Research Grant (YSRG). This grant supports postgraduate researchers from ASEAN Member States and the Republic of Korea as part of the ASEAN-Korea Platform for Great Minds (AKPGM) project supported by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF).
The YSRG aims to foster the next generation of Southeast Asianists by supporting fieldwork that advances understanding of Southeast Asia, ASEAN–Korea relations, and broader regional dynamics through locally grounded research and academic exchange.
Grant Benefits
- Round-trip international airfare for fieldwork
- Living allowance for up to three months of fieldwork
- Honorarium for a local academic mentor
- Opportunity to participate in the Young Scholar Research Workshop
Eligibility
- Master’s or Doctoral students who are nationals of an ASEAN Member State or the Republic of Korea
- Researchers specializing in Southeast Asian Studies or ASEAN–Korea Studies (including ASEAN–Korea relations and comparative studies)
