연세대학교 사회학과를 졸업하고 서울대학교 환경대학원에서 환경정책으로 박사학위를 취득했다. 대통령자문 지속가능발전위원회 에너지·산업팀장, 한국환경자원공사 국제정책연구센터 부장 등을 역임했다. 주요 연구관심은 물, 에너지, 기후변화에 대한 정치생태학적 연구이다. 저서로는 『위험도시를 살다』(공저), 『위험한 동거-강요된 핵발전과 위험경관의 탄생』(공저), 『세상을 움직이는 물-물의 정치학과 정치생태학』, 『생태주의』가 있다. 공역서로 『발전과 환경위기』, 『에코벤쳐』가 있다.
Dr. Sanghun Lee joined the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Hanshin University in 2008. Previously he worked as a government officer on the Presidential Commission of Sustainable Development from 2004 to 2006. He is interested in the political ecology of water, energy, and climate change, in particular in the East Asian region.
