서울대학교 환경대학원 환경계획학과 교수. 서울대학교 물리학과(이학사)와 환경대학원(도시계획학 석사)를 졸업하고 미국 오하이오 주립대학교에서 도시및지역계획학 박사학위를 받았다. 미국 럿거스대학교 행정학과에서 교수로 재직하다가, 2011년부터 서울시립대에서 재직 중이다. 주요 연구분야는 도시 및 지역 경제, 사회 개발정책, 도시계획 등이고, 도시에서의 배제와 포용성, 포용도시, 빈부격차와 사회통합 등을 연구하고 있다. 《도시행정론》, 《유럽의 지역발전정책》, 《지역∙도시정책론》 등의 저서의 집필에 공저자로 참여했다.

Dr. In Kwon Park is Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Planning at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Seoul National University. He graduated from the Department of Physics (BS) and the Graduate School of Environmental Studies (Master in City Planning) at Seoul National University, before receiving his Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning from Ohio State University. He was Assistant Professor of the Department of Public Policy and Administration at Rutgers University in the United States before joining the University of Seoul in 2011. He currently studies exclusion and inclusion in urban areas, inclusive cities, the gap between the rich and the poor, and social integration. He co-authored Urban Administration (Seoul: Parkyoungsa), and Quantitative Regional Economic and Environmental Analysis for Sustainability in Korea (Singapore: Springer).
