문화산업 사회학자인 고윤화 서울대학교 아시아연구소 한류연구센터 연구원은 4일 서울 상암 큐브컨벤션센터에서 열린 ‘2026 MWM 콘퍼런스’에서 ‘AI가 다시 쓰는 K-팝의 공식’을 주제로 오픈 세션 발표에 나섰다.

“뤼미에르 서밋은 단순한 한불 영상 투자협약이 아니라, ‘문화적 예외’와 ‘문화 다양성’ 원칙을 플랫폼·생성형 AI 시대에 적용한 전 지구적 문화 거버넌스 시도다. 한류의 주체인 한국은 이를 계기로 책임 있는 문화정책을 적극 추진해야 한다.”

[아시아지역정보센터] 아시아대도시가치조사를 통해 본 아시아의 가치지형

서울대학교 아시아연구소 아시아지역정보센터 (ARIC)와 지역인문학센터는 9월 4일에 「아시아대도시가치조사를 통해 본 아시아의 가치지형」을 주제로 워크숍을 개최했다. 이번 워크숍은 아시아대도시 가치조사 데이터를 활용한 연구를 발표하는 자리로 마련했다.

2026년 9월 5일 오전 10시부터 서울대학교 동양사학과와 ‘아시아의 지적가치 프로그램’에서 주최한 “제3회 전국ꞏ진한시기 간독 연구 국제 학술회의”가 열렸다. 본 국제학술회의는 진·한의 법률을 중심으로 고대 동아시아 법률의 원형을 복원하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 회의는 Zoom 라이브와 오프라인으로 동시에 진행되었으며, 한국, 중국, 일본의 고대 중국사 연구자가 다수 참가하였다.

[중앙아시아센터] 한국사회 난민의 현실과 난민인정제도 개선의 방향

서울대학교 아시아연구소 중앙아시아센터 이주·난민연구단은 9월 8일 공익법센터 어필(APIL) 이종찬 변호사를 초청해 한국 난민인정제도의 현실과 개선 방향을 논의했다.
이 변호사는 난민협약과 난민법이 마련되어 있음에도 입국, 심사, 불복 과정에서 높은 장벽이 존재한다고 지적했다.

2026학년도 하반기 아시아연구소 방문학자 프로그램 참여 연구진을 소개합니다.

Sanika Sulochani Ramanayake

is working as a Professor at the Department of Social Statistics in the University of Kelaniya. Before this appointment, she was a senior researcher at Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research Institute, a visiting lecturer at General Sir John Kottelawela Defence University, University of Colombo, and University of Vocational Technologies in Sri Lanka. Earlier, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada, affiliated with the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai (February 2016– January 2018), and a Postdoctoral researcher at Seoul National University and Inha University (September 2013- February 2016) under the Social Science Korea (SSK) programme. She obtained her PhD degree in Economics from Seoul National University, South Korea, a master’s degree in international economics from SunMon University, South Korea, and a bachelor’s degree in Social Statistics (Hons) with a 1st class from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Her research interests are Sustain Growth Development, International Trade & Export Growth, National Innovation System & Innovation driven growth, SMEs, Middle Income Trap, Currency exchange rate, Women Empowerment & Gender pay-gap, Gender Inequality & Income Inequality, Migration & Remittances, Brain Drain, and Regional Corporations: Area studies – East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa, Country Studies – Korea, China, Japan, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Taiwan, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, Thailand, South Africa, Congo, and Ethiopia. She is currently the Director (Acting) of the Center for Gender Studies at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka; Chief Editor of the Journal of Social Statistics (Which is an international Journal for academic staff members, whitelisted from the University of Kelaniya), and Co-Editor of the Journal of Gender Studies, Sri Lanka (Also an international Journal).
