He has organized his findings and published them in his book &#8220;Everyday Life of the Chinese People&#8221;\u00a0 last year and will be presenting on topics that are not included in the book along with his thoughts during his recent stay in China. This book talk was about his new book <em>Everyday Life of the Chinese People<\/em> which analyzes the daily lives of the Chinese people through the eyes of a socio-political anthropologist. The philosophical aspect of the Chinese\u2019 everyday lives as well as the dynamics between society and the individual were examined. The significance of the independent coexistence of the state and society in China and the accumulated philosophy, customs, and imagination were discussed. Professor Kim emphasized that the past continuously accumulates as it evolves in a spiral manner and thus history must be take into account when examining society of state.
