Based on rich knowledge, his poems enable multiple ways of interpretations. It has been much eagerly awaited, therefore, to publish an edited volume on his poetry with both a scholarly perspective and a popular approach. To do this, nine scholars collaboratively selected and published fifty-seven poems of Du Fu, which demonstrate both scholarly quality and the nature of popular literature, along with introduction of each work.
