Through these discussions, the forum seeks to reexamine the contemporary significance of the Refugee Convention and generate practical recommendations for strengthening Korea\u2019s refugee protection and solutions framework.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"495\" data-end=\"1128\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In particular, the forum will focus on five priority areas drawn from the UNHCR&#8217;s &#8220;Ten Actions and Core Questions for Refugee Protection and Solutions&#8221; that are especially relevant to the Korean context: strengthening refugee status determination procedures (Action 2); expanding resettlement and complementary pathways (Action 6); reinforcing inclusive national systems (Action 7) and promoting local integration (Action 9); and enhancing the meaningful participation of refugees (Action 10).
