The speaker specializes in ancient Chinese history, economic history, and monetary history, often drawing on excavated materials from the Qin and Han periods in his research. This lecture will offer an opportunity to deepen our understanding of ancient East Asian societies through newly unearthed sources, which are a key focus of the Asia&#8217;s Intellectual Values Program.
