This night is celebrated every year on December 20 in Iran.<\/p>\n<p>The word Yalda means birth, and the Yalda Night is one of the traditional ceremonies in Iran, which is held by Iranian coming together with family members and relatives in different parts of Iran.<\/p>\n<p>The Iranians celebrate the Yalda Night (the first day of winter), the time between the sunset of the last day of the autumn and the sunrise of the first day of winter which is coincided with the longest and the darkest night of the year in the northern hemisphere of the earth.
