Professor Seung Hoon Yang (Sociology, Kyungnam University) will present on &#8216;The Change of Affect in Industrial City of Geoje After the Structural Adjustment of Shipbuilding Industry&#8217;, followed by Professor Shin, Jin-Sook (Institute of Global Affairs, Kyunghee University) who will present on &#8216;Korean Industrial Cities from the Perspective of Affective Urbanism: Taebaek and Geoje&#8217;. Professors Sehoon Chang (Sociology, Dong-A University) and Kwon Myoung A (Korean Language &amp; Literature, Dong-A University) will proceed with the discussion. The two presentations explained the various aspects inside the industrial cities&#8217; structural change with the concept of &#8216;affect&#8217;, with different industrial cities as examples.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion was proceeded by\u00a0Professors Sehoon Chang (Sociology, Dong-A University) and Kwon Myoung A (Korean Language &amp; Literature, Dong-A University). Prof. Chang talked about how the process of structural change in old industrial cities can unfold in quite different contexts, and how the social relations of the cities can show different forms.
